There are a lot of great sightseeing spots in Thailand – one of them being the Central Station in Hua Hin.
This station is quite easy to find. When you spot the gate to the city, you just turn so that it’s in your back and walk on. After a short while you will spot the station!
Now, what makes this station so interesting that I am calling it a good sightseeing spot?
Mainly, it’s the architecture!
This station was built during King Rama VI’s reign and it is one of Thailand’s oldest stations. It’s a beautiful sight and as it won’t take you long, an idal stop while you’re in Hua Hin anyway.
The Pavillon in front is the Royal Waiting Room where the Royal family was welcomed in when they travelled to Hua Hin. Tourists cannot enter the Phra Mongkut Klao Pavilion, but the rest of the premise is free of charge and free to roam around. You can also take the train to Bangkok from here, or just enjoy the architectural details.
